With more than 1 year’s effort in research and development we finally succeeded to make ultra precision mold for cutting melted glass in 1100℃ temperature to form front/back of the CRT for TV and monitor.

CAN, the core product for TV, VTR, AV product, clock, calculator, laptop computer, GSM terminal Digital Cordless Telephone(DECT) is now produced in Sehyun by importing the mold from Swiss and Japan to meet the requirement of fast-changing market environment.

With 10 years of accumulated experiences and know-how in manufacturing hard metal molds for IC packaging, Hard & Soft ferrites, Sehyun could complete the development of the tooling technology for standard & special chip breaker insert used in cutting tools.

We have introduced a high-speed machining center with the RPM of 42,000 from Mikron, Swiss in April 2002 to secure stronger competitive power by reducing the cost and delivery but increasing the quality.

Sehyun obtained ISO 9002, the quality assurance certification in productions and services from LRQA with a world authority in February 2000.

By securing quality assurance system the company motto “customer’s impression” can be realized. And with this certification we can take a better position to export our ultra precision mold to oversea markets on the basis of improved reliability

We will keep making all our efforts on developing the new technologies under the strict quality assurance system.
